The DefTac app

Your assets, in your pocket

The DefTac app works with DefTac Bluetooth tags. Add your equipment, link a tag, and see where each item was last seen.

Sign up in the app with the sign-up code you get from DefTac
Add an asset with a photo, then hold the phone near its tag to link it
See the last seen place and time, and the history of where it has been
Any phone running the app picks up nearby tags and reports where they are. You only ever see your own assets, and nobody sees whose phone spotted them
Add your staff so their phones help keep track of your assets too
Managers use the web console to see all assets on a map

For Android phones. Download it here and install it in a few taps.

When the download finishes, tap the file (DefTac.apk) to open it.
If your phone asks, allow your browser to install apps (Install unknown apps), then go back.
Tap Install, then Open.
Tap Sign up and enter your DefTac sign-up code, or sign in if you already have a login.
When asked, allow location, Bluetooth (Nearby devices) and running in the background, so the app can pick up tags.
